Brian Stewart
Board of Finance
Brian has lived in Lebanon for three years with his wife and three children, and says that he has never felt more at home. Whether he’s tending the family garden and backyard orchard, walking the green and visiting the library, or stopping by Blue Bird Hill and Evans Farm to get groceries, Lebanon is the community they want to be a part of. Brian is currently serving on the Solid Waste Committee and the Water Pollution Control Authority and his wife is Secretary for the elementary school PTA. Brian is looking for other ways to give back to Lebanon and that’s why he’s running for a seat on the Board of Finance.
The Board of Finance fits his experience and skills. Brian works in Human Resources as a Labor Relations Manager. At work he negotiates union contracts, manages difficult interpersonal situations, and negotiates solutions that work for two very different sets of interests. Brian’s favorite part of his job is costing union contracts which means he is very aware of how to budget labor, benefits, and material costs for a business and of how to stretch every dollar so everyone gets more of what they need at the lowest reasonable cost. Brian wants to work for you to keep Lebanon the community we are proud to call home! Brian wants to hear from you so please introduce yourself if you see him out in the community.
