Robin Chesmer

Planning & Zoning

Robin Chesmer has been a member of the Lebanon Planning & Zoning Commission for 36 years and looks forward to serving the town with another term. Robin, and his wife Kathy, moved to Lebanon in 1976 and Robin started a small-scale farm. They have two children, Lisa and her husband David and Lincoln and his wife Amy, and five grandchildren, Sage, Willow, Grant, Indigo and Braddock, who all appreciate living and growing up in rural Lebanon.
The family farm has grown to become Graywall Farms on Chappell Road that is proudly celebrating 30 years in business this year. Robin is also actively involved with the family retail business, The Hoot, located in Mansfield.
Robin firmly believes in the future of local agriculture and the value of farmland preservation. He currently serves as a director of the Connecticut Farmland Trust and has previously served as a member of the State of CT Farmland Preservation Advisory Board.

β€œThe rural and historic character of Lebanon is extremely unique. Our town is an oasis in the midst of our heavily populated state. I will continue to work for good planning in order to maintain Lebanon as a special place to live, work and enjoy.”
