Liz Charron

Board of Finance

Liz Charron has been a resident of Lebanon for 40 years. She and her husband, Joe, raised their two children here where they flourished in the Lebanon school system. Liz worked at Travelers Life & Annuity for 23 years, leading several units before leaving in 2000 when she founded a financial advisory practice where she and a team of seven work with individuals and small businesses to provide wealth management services, including financial planning, portfolio management, estate planning, charitable giving strategies, college funding planning and insurance services.

Liz has a strong belief in giving back to the community and has been involved in many volunteer opportunities and on several boards. She was a member of the Board of Finance in town for 24 years and was chairman for 16 years of those years. She has been a Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Board of Directors of the Lebanon Historical Society. She is currently on several boards, and she is an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Willimantic CT.

Liz will be retiring from her advisory practice at the end of this year. After a few years hiatus and with her upcoming retirement, Liz feels ready to jump back in to serve the Lebanon Community. Liz’s strong financial background, experience with Lebanon finances and extensive board experience will be an asset to the Board of Finance as we continue to deal with difficult economic conditions and funding for major town projects while keeping the mill rate reasonable.
