Elizabeth Sullivan

Board of Education


Elizabeth Sullivan is a proud graduate of Lyman Memorial High School, attending as a student from a neighboring town and has called Lebanon home for the past 13 years. She and her husband moved to town in 2012 to raise their family and now have two children enrolled in the Lebanon public schools. 

Professionally, Elizabeth has built a career centered on advocacy, equity, and organizational leadership. She currently serves as the Executive Director of a public-sector labor union representing employees at the University of Connecticut. In this role, she leads strategic initiatives, oversees daily operations, and works collaboratively to promote fair, inclusive, and transparent workplace practices.

Elizabeth brings to the table years of experience in leadership, problem-solving, and community engagement—skills that directly translate to effective service on the Board of Education. Grounded in the values of justice, integrity, and humility, she believes deeply in the importance of public service that listens, builds trust, and takes action.

She would be honored to serve her hometown on the Board of Education and is committed to ensuring that every student in Lebanon has access to the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
