Brian Green and his wife Dawn purchased their home in Lebanon in 1996 and have been active members of the community ever since that time.  Their daughter Abby attended school in Lebanon, graduating from Lyman in 2021.  Abby just recently graduated from the University of Hartford (Magna Cum Laude) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology. Brian has volunteered his time on multiple ad hoc committees, all to give back to the town he and his family calls home.  Brian holds a Master of Science in Assurance Services and Taxation from the University of Hartford and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. Brian is currently the Director of Internal Audit for the Department of Administrative Services, worked several years in audit leadership and human performance with the Defense Contract Audit Agency, and (27) years in a top fifty American company.  He also is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Eastern Connecticut State University and Union College. His many years of leadership experience and valuing what others bring to the table, help him to pull the best from what everyone has to offer. He has served in a leadership role on the school renovation study that has taken place with the Board of Selectmen, the Board of Finance, and the Board of Education over the last 1.5 years. He is committed to seeing that project through to fruition by monitoring the bottom-line costs of the project closely, while providing a wonderful, safe, learning environment for students, teachers, and staff, and the community. He had served the last four years on the Lebanon Board of Education, with the last year serving as Vice Chair of the Board.  Your support is deeply appreciated in returning Brian back to the Board of Education!
